Book a demo on your own plans
The quickest way to judge Squaro is to watch it read a plan set you have already quoted. Book a 30 minute video call: we run Squaro on your plans, or on a sample if you would rather, and you compare its takeoff and quote with your own.
What happens in the demo
- Your plan set goes in. Send us a set of working drawings and the selections you have already quoted, or we use a sample house. Plans are used only for the demo and are not used to train AI models.
- Squaro reads it. It finds the floor plan and the selections, decides which spaces get hybrid, carpet or neither, and measures each room from the dimension strings printed on the drawing, never by scaling the page.
- You see where every figure came from. Each room shows the sheet and the dimension text it used, and anything hard to read is marked so you know what to check.
- Your rules price it. We set up your doorway allowance, robes, kickboard recesses, stair allowance, waste, pack sizes, roll widths, trims and rates, then the quote is built from them.
- You compare it with your own quote. Line by line, the same way you would check it before it goes to a builder. Ask anything.
What to send before the call
The demo is most useful on a job you know well. If you can, email us a plan set you quoted recently: the working drawings, the selections or colour schedule, and your own quote for it, with the names and prices blacked out if you prefer. Tell us the rules you use, such as your doorway allowance, waste percentage, pack sizes and roll widths, and the rates you charge per square metre. We set those up before the call, so the quote Squaro produces is priced your way and can be compared line for line with yours. No plans to hand? We will use a sample house instead.
Who it suits
Flooring contractors and estimators who quote from builder plans: hybrid, laminate, vinyl plank and timber, carpet off the roll, and blinds from a window schedule. It suits volume and custom home builders' subcontractors best, where every quote starts with a PDF plan set and a selections sheet. Good to know before you book
- Squaro is in early access. It runs in a web browser, with nothing to install.
- Plans need to be metric for now. Feet-and-inch plans are planned.
- It is launching in Australia and open to contractors in New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, the US and Canada, with GST, VAT or sales tax set per company.
